Next, we adjust the multiband compressor sliders to match the music that we are going to play. For the best results, the multiband compressor should aim at a sound that is equal to that of most of the music we are going to play. In other words, an equal amount of compression for all frequency bands.
Turn the Multiband Compressor on.
Increase the Pre Amp value such that a lot of compression occurs.
Turn the Post Amp down such that the loudest peaks still fit inside the output volume display to avoid distortion.
Short (low) bars indicate a large amount of compression.
